To ensure that we bring our customers a fantastic range of confectionery we need to investigate new and exciting arrivals on the sweetie scene. The ISM festival in Cologne, Germany is held every year. It is the world’s largest trade fair for sweets and snacks. It is where the geniuses of the confectionery world gather to showcase their products and introduce new ideas and innovations.
As the owners of the Treat Kitchen we generously gave up our time to surround ourselves with sweets for two whole days. With samples aplenty we valiantly worked our way around the eight halls of the exhibition looking out for new ideas and contacts. There were so many sights, sounds and of course tastes to experience from an erupting chocolate volcano to three Swiss chaps playing Alpine horns!
We made some great connections at the festival both from UK and Europe and we can’t wait for our new choices to arrive on our shelves.
